Viisukeidas members now have a possibility to attend the 2008 semifinals in Tampere, Finland. Attendance is free of charge and there is a limited number of tickets available. The procedure for registration can be found in our discussion forum.

Serbian broadcaster RTS is planning the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest. The contests will be staged May 22 and 24, 2008. At this point the preparations concentrate on the visual appearance, staging details, contest logo, and the hosts.

YLE sold ESC items for charity. Huge crowds tried to purchase this year's ESC goods as YLE arranged a sale two days ago. Everything was sold out within hours. More at YLE homepage.

Viisukeidas new website lauched! From now on Viisukeidas is divided into 2 separate sections: Viisukeidas Suomi Finland and Viisukeidas International. The Finnish page can be found here.

Jukka VÔø‡Ôø‡isÔø‡Ôø‡nen, journalist at Viisukeidas, wrote the Finnish lyrics "Rukoilen" for the winning song from Serbia. He was interviewed for the Finnish newspaper Keski-Uusimaa.
